Why Hire Found in Translation Graduates?

Picture
We take pride in being the most competitive medical interpreting program in existence.  We are the only interpreter training program that is in a position to select the very best candidates from literally hundreds of applicants.

How is this possible?  The unequal distribution of poverty across race and ethnicity concentrates a huge proportion of bilingual talent is in low-income communities, where a lack of resources (money to pay tuition, childcare, transportation, etc.) prevents many excellent bilingual candidates from enrolling in the typical medical interpreting training programs.

But at Found in Translation we understand that these factors are not a reflection of a candidate's potential to become a great medical interpreter.  We remove economic barriers, creating an interpreter training program that is not only the first socially just, but also the only truly merit-based.

A Solution for Your Interpreting Needs

Our alumnae are fluent in English and at least one other language, trained in thousands of medical terms, topics ranging from pediatrics to nuclear medicine, and the highest ethical standards.  As professional interpreters, our alumnae are connectors across language and culture.  They are devoted to bridging divides between people, fostering community, and providing equality in access to health care and information.

Let everyone's voice be heard: request an interpreter for your next community meeting, special event, or open position.  Our alumnae are available for hire for full-time and part-time positions in medical interpreting and related fields, as well on a volunteer basis for worthy causes.
